The marshes next to this hotel are absolutely lovely, and although the dock was under construction while I was there, there were plenty of chairs and benches along the banks to watch the sunrise. While the property was rather dusty due to construction, all of the changes seemed to be for the best, and I never encountered any problems with noise. Furthermore, I was impressed with how congenial the staff was; their helpfulness definitely relieved my anxieties about being a solo traveler. I would recommend the Creekside Lands Inn to anyone staying in Charleston, as it is only about 8 misses from downtown. I’m returning to Charleston with a friend this week, and we’re looking forward to our upcoming visit.
